People aged 65 years or older, with a urinary tract infection, are at increased risk of developing a bloodstream infection caused by E. coli bacteria.
We are inviting volunteers to take part in a vaccine research study exploring an investigational treatment for the prevention of Invasive Extraintestinal E. coli infection (IED) and other infections in adults aged 65 years and older with a history of UTI’s.
Participants will attend regular appointments with our study team and receive either the study drug or placebo during the treatment period.
Eligible participants will be reimbursed for attending study visits and for reasonable travel expenses.
